Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes

The journey begins with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca before departing for Rabat, the capital, where we will explore the Royal Palace, the Chellah ruins, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, and the Hassan Tower. In the afternoon, we continue to Meknes for dinner by the Bab el Mansour gate and overnight at a local hotel.

Day 2: Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

After breakfast, we explore Meknes with its royal granaries, city walls, and the famous Bab el Mansour gate. On the way to Fes, we stop at Volubilis to see the Roman ruins and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, a pilgrimage site. Arrival in Fes and accommodation.

Day 3: Discovering Fes

We dedicate the day to exploring the medina of Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest cities. We visit the Royal Palace, the Jewish quarter, the Al Qaraouine University, the tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. The day concludes with a panoramic view of the city.

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga

We travel south, passing through Ifrane and the cedar forest of Azrou, home to Barbary monkeys. We cross Midelt, the Ziz Valley, and Erfoud before reaching Merzouga, where we will spend the night in a hotel.

Day 5: Merzouga – Khamlia – Rissani – Erg Chebbi

At sunrise, we watch the sun over the dunes, and after breakfast, we depart for Tinghir and the Todra Gorges. We continue through the Dades Valley, famous for its rock formations known as the Monkey Fingers, and spend the night in a hotel in the valley.

Day 7: Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

We follow the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the Valley of the Roses and arriving in Ouarzazate. We visit the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and filming location for movies and series, before crossing the Tizi n Tichka Pass to Marrakech.

Day 8 and Day 9: Marrakech

Two full days to explore the Red City with a local guide. We discover Jemaa el-Fna Square, the Koutoubia Mosque, the souks, palaces, and museums, as well as modern neighborhoods like Gueliz and gardens such as Menara and Majorelle.

Day 10 and Day 11: Marrakech – Essaouira

We take the road to the Atlantic coast to Essaouira, the Pearl of the Atlantic. We enjoy its blue-and-white medina, the Portuguese ramparts, and the sunset over the ocean. We taste fresh fish and explore its peaceful atmosphere, spending two nights in a local riad.
