3-Day Morocco Tour Itinerary from Marrakech

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou – Valley of the Roses – Dades Valley
The 3-day private tour from Marrakech to Fes begins with an early pickup from the airport or your accommodation in Marrakech. You will then drive through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-N-Tichka Pass, with stops to enjoy panoramic views of the stunning landscapes.
Next, we visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Kasbah has appeared in numerous films such as Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and TV series like Game of Thrones. Afterwards, we head to “The Gateway to the Desert,” Ouarzazate. There will be free time for lunch before continuing to the Valley of the Roses, passing through the vast palm grove of Skoura. Finally, we drive to Boumalne Dades, where we will spend the night.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Dunes and Night in the Desert
After breakfast, we drive through the Dades Valley, stopping at a viewpoint to enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Dades Gorges. Next, we continue to the Todra Gorges, where the Todra River has carved a magnificent canyon with towering red cliffs. You can walk through the gorges and take in the stunning landscape.
Afterwards, we drive through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad, with free time for lunch along the way.
In the afternoon, we arrive at the Sahara Desert in Merzouga, where we switch to camels to cross the sand dunes. There will be a stop to admire the magical sunset from the top of a dune. Then we proceed to the luxury desert camp, where you can enjoy Berber drum music and dance around the fire under the starry sky. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Day 3: Merzouga Dunes – Erfoud – Midelt – Cedar Forest – Ifrane – Fes
On the last day of the tour, wake up early to enjoy the beautiful sunrise in the middle of the desert. Free time for breakfast, then return by camel to Merzouga, where the driver will be waiting.
Next, visit the city of Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet, still an important commercial center with a large souk active on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. After strolling through the souk, continue to Erfoud to visit a fossilized marble workshop.
Then drive along the Ziz River, stopping to enjoy panoramic views of the Ziz Valley. Free time for lunch in Midelt. Continue to the cedar forest, home to the Barbary macaques, which you can feed while exploring the forest. Afterwards, visit Ifrane, famous for its cold climate, snow, and Alpine-style houses, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Finally, transfer to the airport or your accommodation in Fes.
