Day 1: Fez – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

The private tour begins with a journey through the Atlas Mountains, stopping in the towns of Azrou and Ifrane to explore the famous cedar forest, home to the Barbary monkeys. We then continue to Midelt, crossing the Tiz Ntalghamt mountain pass and the Ziz Gorge, with opportunities to stop for photos and enjoy a local mint tea. Next, we travel through the Ziz Valley, Erfoud, and Rissani, an oasis, before reaching the Erg Chebbi dunes. Upon arrival, you can swap the 4×4 for an optional camel ride to our desert camp, where we will enjoy a traditional dinner and music around the fire under the starry sky.

Day 2: Merzouga – Midelt – Fez

The second day starts early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, followed by an optional camel ride back to the village and breakfast at a hotel. We then return via Rissani and Erfoud, making a stop along the way before continuing to Ifrane and finally arriving in Fez, concluding the tour.
