6-Day Morocco Tour Itinerary from Casablanca

DAY 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fes

The private tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Casablanca. We will visit the main cultural attractions before heading to Rabat for a brief city tour. Then we continue to Meknes and finally arrive in Fes, where we will spend the night in a riad or hotel.

Day 2: Visit Fes

We will start the day exploring Morocco’s oldest city, wandering through its narrow streets and alleys. We’ll visit the Royal Palace Gate, the old Jewish quarter—home to the country’s first Mellah built in the 16th century—and other historical and cultural sites, including the famous Al Qaraouine University. We’ll also see the tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. After lunch, we’ll visit several cooperatives and enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Fes medina before returning to our riad.

Day 3: Fes – Merzouga Desert

The journey continues toward Azrou, where we will explore the cedar forest and observe the Barbary macaques. We then head to Midelt and the Ziz Valley, with a brief stop in Erfoud for lunch or refreshments, continuing to Rissani and finally Merzouga. Here, you can optionally swap the 4×4 for camels to traverse Erg Chebbi, reaching the desert camp to enjoy the sunset over the dunes and a traditional dinner by the fire under the starry sky. Overnight stay in Berber tents in the desert.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge

We’ll start early to watch the sunrise over the dunes before returning to the hotel to freshen up. After breakfast, we continue toward Todra Gorge, Morocco’s tallest and narrowest canyon. After lunch, we drive through the Dades Valley, admiring the unique rock formations known as the “Monkey Fingers.” Overnight in the Dades Valley with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 5: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi-n-Tichka – Marrakech

The journey continues toward Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate, known as the “African Hollywood,” with the option to visit a film studio and a kasbah. Next, we visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the largest in the country and a UNESCO World Heritage site, before crossing the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech, where we spend the night in a traditional riad in the medina.

DAY 6: Marrakech – Casablanca

After breakfast, we will explore Marrakech, the Red City of Morocco, visiting the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace. In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore the city or enjoy additional activities before returning to Casablanca, where the tour concludes.
